Intro Blog – Benefits of a Finger Reader in a lunch Line

Hello all, and thank you for coming to our blog! Being this is our first entry of “Finger Info” I feel like some introductions are necessary. My name is Nick and I am writing from Caledonia Minnesota which is a town you probably have never heard of. This is where I grew up and it’s a great place to live and work. It also happens to be the headquarters of our company IDconnect! Caledonia, while small is known for a great many things, including, Football (our high school has won the state title 6 out of the last 7 years), we are the known as the “Wild Turkey Capital” and hunting is a way of life for most of us that reside in this small town. Did I mention we’re small? Like one stoplight in the whole town small! We are however the county seat for Houston County, so we got that going for us.

Okay so now that’s out of the way let’s talk a little shop shall we!

While there are several benefits to having our IDconnect finger reader system in your lunchroom, I am going to focus on two and expand on what our system is really doing that provides you with these faculties. The first benefit I would like to mention is the speed that our system provides. It is coming to sound like some awful cliché that your grandparents would tell you, but the world does seem to have gotten itself in an awful big hurry. Everything is a race these days and companies are always looking at how they can go faster. Anyone who uses our finger reader system in their lunchrooms knows that IDconnect significantly affects the speed in a positive way! No longer do kids have to remember their pin number (let’s face it they don’t remember anything) and then give it to the lunchroom attendant so they can type it in. It’s such a simple process with IDconnect. Step 1 place finger on the reader. Step 2… Oh right there is no step 2

The second benefit I wanted to talk about was accuracy. Our finger reader system is foolproof, no more “oh I didn’t hear you in this big room with a couple hundred kids yelling”, or “I gave you someone else’s number by mistake”. Our lunchroom in elementary school was so loud they put in a traffic light to let us know when we had to be quiet. Side note that was ridiculous and I feel like I should never have been in trouble because the geniuses that designed the school put the lunchroom right next to the library. Seriously who thought that makes sense? But I digress, now where was I? Oh yes, our finger reader system completely eliminates these issues and makes your lunch line more efficient. Think about it like this, when said mistakes are made in the line how big of a pain in the butt is it to figure out where the mistake was made, come up with a plan to fix it, and then go into your system and undo the mistake? Sherlock Homes and Watson would have a hard time figuring out why little Johnny got charged for lunch 5 times on Tuesday.

Well that it for today. Have a great weekend!
